BLACKWOOD is a stunning 31.39M Broward. She offers one of the largest interior volumes in her class due to her being a wide body motoryacht. As a result, the enormous gourmet galley with dining area, newly appointed salon, and a modern flybridge boasting an area for lounging to include a stainless BBQ, wet bar, and tender, gives BLACKWOOD the feel of a larger yacht. Her generous interior is light and spacious with four staterooms to accommodate eight to nine passengers.

Chef - Juan Ruiz
Chef Juan’s culinary journey began in a bustling port fish market, where he developed a deep appreciation for fresh seafood before honing his craft as a chef for nearly 20 years. His passion for the sea extends beyond the kitchen—he loves diving and fishing for sea urchins and local catch, often incorporating them into his dishes. With an upbeat, laid-back personality, he creates a fun and welcoming dining experience on board.
As Blackwood’s chef, Juan combines technical skill with deep knowledge of local ingredients and regional cooking techniques, adapting his menus to each destination. His ability to source and highlight the best seasonal flavors makes him the perfect fit for Alaska, where he’ll craft dishes that showcase the pristine seafood of the region—from wild-caught salmon to freshly harvested crab—turning every meal into a true taste of the journey.
Mate - Stephanie Johnson
Meet Stephanie – First Mate Raised among the forests and coastlines of beautiful Oregon and having spent the past 20 years throughout the Caribbean, Stephanie is proud to call both of these naturally stunning places home.

Now stepping into the role of First Mate, Stephanie brings her 100-ton USCG Captain’s License, a strong work ethic, and a calming demenor. She’s passionate about keeping operations smooth, helping guests feel welcome and cared for, and jumping in wherever she’s needed especially if that need is talking about her favorite topic, marine life.
