With over eight years of professional boating experience, Captain Hendrik, known as Danté, brings a calm, confident approach to the helm and a genuine passion for life on the water. His experience across motor yachts and sportfishing vessels has taught him to combine professional seamanship with the relaxed, personable atmosphere that makes a charter truly enjoyable.

 

Safety and smooth operation are always at the heart of his approach, from navigating island passages and reading the weather to close-quarters maneuvering, anchoring, and docking. He particularly enjoys sharing the adventure of the Caribbean with guests, whether that means discovering a secluded anchorage, exploring a new island, getting out on the water or enjoying an exciting day of sportfishing.

 

Danté has a particular passion for offshore fishing and loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with guests. Whether targeting marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado, or wahoo, or simply helping someone experience the excitement of fishing for the first time, he enjoys turning time on the water into an unforgettable experience.

 

Naturally calm, approachable, and hands-on, Danté genuinely enjoys getting to know his guests and tailoring each day around what they want from their time aboard Apricity. For him, being Captain is about much more than safely operating the yacht. It is about creating the freedom for guests to relax, explore, and make the most of every moment on the water.

CHEF CHERAIN LOOTS

With over a decade of luxury hospitality experience, Chef Cherain brings a genuine love for cooking, entertaining and creating memorable experiences for guests aboard Apricity. Her background as a Chief Stewardess, combined with six years of owning and operating her own catering company, has given her a unique understanding of both refined service and the creativity that goes into exceptional food.

 

For Cherain, cooking is about much more than simply preparing a meal. She loves creating fresh, beautifully presented dishes that suit each guest, from relaxed breakfasts and lunches to elegant dinners and canapés enjoyed with a view. She takes particular pleasure in getting to know her guests’ preferences and turning those little details into personalized meals throughout their charter.

 

Her catering background has given her extensive experience in menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, presentation, and managing dietary requirements. At the same time, her luxury hospitality experience has taught her to naturally notice the small details that make guests feel genuinely cared for.

 

Her goal is simple: to make every meal part of the adventure and to create an experience that leaves guests with wonderful memories of both the food and their time aboard Apricity.
