EMMYS Yacht Show Recap: Standout Vessels Worth Chartering

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of attending the EMMYS Yacht Show—what a spectacular event!
The impressive setting and impeccable organization provided the perfect backdrop for both yachts and their crews to truly shine. I had the pleasure of enjoying exquisite lunches and exploring this beautiful island, while also touring the yachts and engaging with crew members and key industry players—all of us aligned in making these days in Greece an unforgettable experience. Among the yachts on display, I found Sunmoon, the Fountaine Pajot 67s, particularly interesting, with their jacuzzis and impressively optimized layouts for welcoming up to 10 guests on board. One standout was Alexandra II, which deservedly won the award for Best Crew of the Show.
It’s hard to pick just five favorites among so much excellence, but here are my top selections:
GRAYONE – Sunreef 80 (2020)
With a sleek grey hull, panoramic decks, and F1 pedigree, Grayone delivers style and space across every level.
This yacht boasts a fashionable dark grey hull that accentuates her striking exterior lines and vast deck space spanning three teak levels. The clever layout includes a forward bar with a wine cellar that serves guests both indoors and on the foredeck. Guests are spoiled for choice between the aft cockpit, spacious flybridge, and upper deck, which features sun loungers, integrated seating with panoramic sea views, and a cocktail table. The first owner of this spectacular Sunreef 80 was a former Formula 1 champion who was involved throughout the build process. Grayone accommodates 8 guests in 4 luxurious cabins.
SUNMOON – Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 (2024)
Newly launched and effortlessly elegant, Sunmoon is built for luxurious living and unforgettable journeys—soon to grace the Caribbean in winter 2025.
An exquisite and newly launched Alegria 67, Sunmoon is designed to deliver an unforgettable charter experience. With five elegant cabins—including a master suite and four queen cabins—she comfortably hosts up to 10 guests in absolute luxury. Operated by a highly skilled and dedicated crew of three, Sunmoon plans to cross the Atlantic and charter in the Leewards and Windwards this winter. Her sophisticated design and generous living areas make her a perfect choice for relaxed cruising with breathtaking views.
VALIUM 67 – Lagoon Sixty 7 (2023)
Valium 67 offers seamless indoor-outdoor living, standout efficiency, and a boutique-hotel-worthy owner’s suite—perfect for refined chartering.
This yacht blends indoor and outdoor living seamlessly, taking full advantage of natural light and open spaces. Valium 67 features a vast flybridge with a spacious lounge and an opening hardtop. SERENISSIMA III – Fountaine Pajot 80 (2024)
Serenissima III pairs high-performance sailing with elevated comfort, featuring an “ocean terrace” flybridge and sleek, luxurious interiors.
With a generous flybridge designed as a true “ocean terrace” and a forward cockpit with ample seating, Serenissima III combines high-performance sailing with refined relaxation. Inside, she offers a modern and expansive interior with luxurious finishes throughout. She is operated by a dedicated team of five and accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 beautifully appointed cabins.
TWIN PRIDE – Lagoon 50 (2010; refitted 2024)
A true standout at the show, Twin Pride shines with heartfelt hospitality, fresh upgrades, and breezy spaces made for laid-back luxury.
An absolute highlight thanks to her charming and passionate crew—definitely one of my favorites at the show! Twin Pride is meticulously maintained by her captain and owner, who recently completed a major refit in 2024. She offers spacious outdoor areas perfect for entertaining and relaxing, including a large deck ideal for sunbathing and a new 20m² bimini that provides ample shade over the breezy flybridge. She accommodates 8 guests in 4 comfortable cabins.
